==================
Bonjour,

Merci d'avance !

Sorry, here in english :

Hello,
I have a problem: on several groups of questions I present a table of same questions on which I want the items to be in a random order (to avoid automatic answers as the participants can get used to it) and I succeeded in activating it on each of the questions concerned (Settings > Display > Random order > Yes). However, the problem I'm having is that the random order may be randomised at the start, but it doesn't change between groups and I don't know how to fix it...

Thanks in advance!

The order should be randomized separately for each question.

Can you provide a sample survey (.lss file) containing only a couple of questions?

Here a sample survey with only 8 group of questions that I mentioned above :
we.tl/t-e1Q0SjvoPy

The questions concerned are all those whose code ends with 2 (one per group)

Why using Wetransfer if you can just upload the LSS file here in the forum?

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Of course it works, we and others do it all the time. You need to pick "attachements" and upload them. Works of course only when the editor is open, not with "quick reply".

Hi, I think the problem is that we can't reproduce this.
If you ask here in English or in the French part.

Here in 5.3.10. (also tested in 5.3.16.)

You see, each array is randomized differently.

Two remarks:
Is there a special reason that you set some relevance equations to "2"?
Remember: Here you enter a logical term that is either TRUE or FALSE.
If TRUE the question is displayed, if FALSE it is not displayed.
Now the numerical representation of FALSE is "0", of TRUE everything else.
So if you enter "1" or "2" or "12345", or let it empty (what is the default), doesn't matter.

You set the minimum answers of the array to "9".
Now you see that the question starts with an error, because the given answers are less than 9.
But your array has only 9 subquestions.
And furthermore it is a mandatory question. So why this additional setting?

On the preview it works without problem but when I launch the questionnaire and do it as a participant it doesn't work.

With regard to the first comment, it's voluntary, it's precisely because there are two conditions and I want the participant to see only one of them.

As for the second comment, I didn't know if the sub-questions would be automatically mandatory. So I've just corrected that, thanks!

You're right.
I missed that.
It is reproducable.

So file a bug report.
