Hey,

My data has already been collected. The order of two question groups was randomized using randomization group. It didn't come to my mind beforehand that I explicitly need to record the order of these question groups. (I now browsed through the forum to see how this can be done.) Is there any way to see now the order of these question groups? Even from the individual responses and then record it manually to my data? So far haven't been able to find a way. My n=600 and there is no way to collect the data again etc.

Help much appreciated!

The order data is not hidden somewhere. There is no workaround.

This is one of the reasons why it is necessary to test questionnaires thoroughly with well defined data and to export the data file and check if it delivers what you need for your analysis.

As Jelo says, the randomization order is not stored by default. You would need to record that yourself. There is now way to find out in which order respondents have seen your question groups (as long as you didn't record the timings).

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
