Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: 5.2.14
==================
Hello!

When conditions are set for a question in LimeSurvey, does LimeSurvey store to it's database the information if that particular question has been shown to the person answering the survey or not (result of the relevance equation evaluation)? The reason why we are asking this is that we aim to use information from the database to create reports, and it would be nice to know if a certain question has been shown or not, so that questions not shown could be removed from the report.

Not sure if this helps, but it seems that if the question is hidden via relevance/conditions, NULL is recorded in the answers table. If the question is shown but not answers, nothing is recorded.

If Tpartners tip doesn't help: As you know the condition when a question is shown, you know if the question has been shown to the respondent or not. You can draw this from the database through an additional query.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
