Hi,

I am very new to LimeSuvery - and have a fairly basic business problem (sorry if its very obvious!)

We have set up LimeSurey (see below) and its working fine. We want to have a process where our team calls up our clients and fills in a survey, i.e one person might call up 10 people. That same person will then fill in the same survey 10 times, but with 10 different details.  How do I best go about doing this? There is a lot about stopping peopel doing this (which makes sense) but we want to allow our internal/signed in users to be able to complete the survey for multiple people.

Thanks in advance.

"Signed in" or not doesn't matter for limesurvey. Survey creating (signed in) and survey taking are two very different things.

Now, I could imagine that you would want to use a token per "called up client" and this way the person filling in the forum would have 10 different links and could fill it 10 times without a problem.

You could also add "newtest=Y" to the URL and you should be able to fill in a survey various times even if it is an open survey.

  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Thanks - and sorry if I am missing this, but I dont want to create 10 different links as it might not be 10, it might 20, or 100 and differnet links become hard to manage.

I want to give the person one link and they can just keep click it, enter the unique information and if they do one, ten or one hundred we dont need to manage the links and track those - as that seems like a lot effort.

It seems like it should be something be able to do and other platforms do similar things - so I think I am just missing something obvious.

Sorry for this!

Then, as I said: Use newtest:

forums.limesurvey.org/forum/installation...-not-using-newtest-y

Or, you could create a token for each person that fills out the surveys (to identify them) and just increase the number of "uses left" in the participant table. Default is "1", this means with each token you can just respond once. But you can seit it to 50, or 100 or 1000 if you want to.
