I tried to hide numbers in a slider question following this topic: forums.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-thi...ue-when-using-slider
(I modified the css as suggested by Tony Partner), but apparently it does not seem to work: the numbers are displayer when I move the slider.
The survey is attached below.
I am using Lime Cloud Hosting as today (5.2.13) and the fruity (extended template).
Any help is appreciated!

This was the solution
Now it works!

Our student are stiull working on slider questions (Lime Cloud, 5.2.13).
They have found a problem in a survey with two languages (Italian and English as additional).
The problem is:
- creste a survey with italian as first language and english as second
- create a survey with a slider question non mandatory (and the template modified as suggested in this post)
- test the survey:
- In Italian all is ok
- Only in English, if we do not answer to all the subquestions we get a message that one or more questions have not been answered (see the attachment)
 
I enclose also the .ll file for reproducibility.
 
I am wondering if this a problem of the modified template or a bug and how we can fix it.

I found that the negative min value causes this behaviour.
So it is obviously a bug. As your survey is hosted at LimeSurvey GmbH, you may contact them directly.
Anyway: File a bug report.

Credentials: The same as in this forum.

What you can do:
As you do not display the tooltips (what is this class "no-tooltip"?) (and the values) you may change the scale from -5 - +5 to  0 - 11 and later recalculate the values in your analysis.

And something else:
Why did you change the separator? Well, it doesn't matter.
But this is really strange.
The subquestion consists of three parts, separated by a defined character.
subquestion text | left side of the slider | right side of the slider
Here an example:
dog|low|high
 

If there is no subquestion text (as in your survey), this part is empty, only |low|high

In your survey I saw this
textA $ $ textB
So textA is not the left side of the slider but the text of the subquestion.
So should be $textA$textB

Hi Joffm,

I am desperately trying to hide the number of the slider but it does not work. What I did:
- went to the theme configuration, extended the fruity theme, added the above code to the custom.css (I also tried other similar codes but none worked), saved the changes
- in my questionnaire, I changed the theme for the extended one. However, I still have the numbers...
What did I miss?

Did you assign the CSS class "no-tooltip" to the question?

I am totally new to LimeSurvey and searched quite a lot but that is definitely what I missed.
