Hi there,

I am using the LimeSurvey Community Edition version 3.27.26 + 211123.
I would like to add audio files to my survey. The playback of the files also works quite well on the PC and Android devices. However, I get an error message as soon as I try to play the audio file on iOS.
I use the following code: <audio autostart = "false" controls = "console" src = ".... mp3"> </audio>

"Fehler" means "error" in German:

Does anyone have any ideas how I can play the file on iOS devices?

Best regards
Jessica

Hi, Jessica,
I thought this was a typo in your German post.
What is controls="console"?
Both - autoplay and controls - are boolean parameters.
Try
<audio controls src="...

Seems that the supporters in the German part only work with Android devices.

The OS is not playing back a file. It's the browser.
Default one on iOS is Safari. It might be an issue with the browser on certain iOS versions.

Frist you might check a few examples (I linked a German site) with an iOS device and the browser used.
