==================
Hi!
We are launching a survey in couple of weeks that will be available to anyone who wishes to participate within a specific community. We are very conscious about not collecting any personal data from our participants as it is completely irrelevant to our study but as the survey itself is quite long we want to ease the process for our participants by enabling the resume later option which requires an e-mail address and a password from the user. Can LimeSurvey be set in a way that it will only store this data until that specific survey has been completed or if the user doesn't complete the survey it gets deleted in x amount of days?
Thanks in advnace!

Hi,
1. this feature does not require an e-mail.
It is optional if the participant fears to forget his entered credentials
You see there is:
IF you enter an email address you will get a mail ...
(If you do not, you won't get it and have to remember)

2. After submitting the survey these values are deleted

3. After de-activating a survey it is deleted, too.

You may try yourself.
These values are saved in the database table "lime_saved-control"

In my experience this is hardly ever used by respondents. And when they use it, they do not come back to re-open the survey.
