Hi All,

I have a survey with  token-based response persistence: OFF and allowing multiple responses or update responses with one token. This will be used by professional inquirers that will register responses from an audience one by one.
This is working but I have an issue: I would like that any time a response is completed or saved the inquirer has the possibility to move into the next person and start fresh a new set o responses. The exit and clear doesn't work for me because it deletes the saved response.
How can I add a button to start fresh a new set of responses once the survey is saved and once is completed?

Thanks in advance

While this might as well be the answer to my own question, I would appreciate some confirmation... I'm able to do this with the argument newtest, correct?

So in theory I could add a button to the last page and to the template (in the saved response modal confirmation) with a link to my own survey and with the argument newtest=Y.

Am I correct?

I think if you append the URL with &newtest=Y it should start a new response.

I think your interviewers will hate you if you have "token-based response persistence: OFF". What happens, when some technical problem appears and they need to continue an interview later? They would have to start from scratch.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Thank you. I hope there's no technical problem. The idea is that with one token for each they can add multiple responses and save if necessary.

Following up my question, does anyone knows where to look in order to add a link on the confirmation modal, after saving the responses?

I think you could use "token-based response persistence: ON", so your team could get back to the last interview and if the interviewer doesn't want to continue the previous interview, they can start a new one, by using "exit and clear". And in the end URL you put the survey URL with newtest.

1. Use Answer persistance On
2. Add a link at end with start of survey with newtest=Y (something like {SID}?token={TOKEN}&newtest=Y)
3. Set Use left to 1 000 000 (or more)

Alternatives :
1. quexs.acspri.org.au/
2. gitlab.com/SondagesPro/managament/responseListAndManage
3. surely a lot of other solution
