Recover responses was created by lucianv
Hello there,

Sorry for writing here, but I could not find a topic on this.
I played with LimeSurvey on an Ubuntu 20.04 server and I want to go to cloud now.
I had a problem with the operating system and I can only access the booting from a different device.
I managed to save and recover the tables from my limesurvey database, but I could not find the answers(responses) already collected.
Can one of you please point me to the right location to also retrieve the answers? Are there also in the mysql database I used, or in a different location?
Thank you and I look forward to your answers.

Answers are in database tables titled [prefix]_survey_[surveyID].

The responses are saved in the same database.

You can check the database schema here:

If you take the whole database used for the initial install, create a dump, import this dump at your new server and install Limesurvey using this database, you should have the very same installation again.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
