Redirect with End URL does not work was created by David___
Hey,
I tried to implement a redirect at the end of my survey using the End-URL function and enabling "Automatically load URL when survey complete". However, it just does not work. I am using the web version of Limesurvey (verison2.05). Unfortunately, I cannot copy the survey here, as I got not permission to do so (for more info see www.unige.ch/cisa/files/8514/6710/1382/GERT_usersGuide.pdf ).

Does anyone have any idea, why this occurs and is there any possible workaround? I just need to sent participants back to the panel provider at the end of the study with a complete link. Other links are not necessary in this case.

I know unige have 3.X version
It's really strange they still offer a 2.05 version : this version is outdated and have big security hole.

It's unclear what exactly is not working. If you don't use AutoLoad, is the URL correctly build? There are certain LS version which had bugs in the EndURL part.
But if the Autoload is working, the issues where mostly around HTML fragments inside variables or wrong variables, which prevented a correctly built URL.

I recommend to create a equation question for the URL and place only the questionvariable in the EndURL field. Build the URL in the question to easier spot issues and prevent HTML filtering in the EndURL field.

To help you from outside you will need to provide a LSS export and explain what the panel provider is expecting and delivering. And ask the people to provide you LimeSurvey version 3.

Indeed, version 2.05 is very old and most people here will not be able (or willing) to help you with it.

I find it astonishing that a professional organisation that works with sensitive data does not update more often. This is dangerous!

Thanks everybody for the quick replies. I contacted unige and asked if it is possible to run the test on a newer version of LimeSurvey. If not, I probably won't do the study with LimeSurvey as the version is really outdated. I wasn't aware of this before as I have never worked with LS so far.
