Hi group,

I can`t find out if this is possible:

Survey:
3 different surveys (self-assessment) with a 5-point likert scale (survey 1 and 2 have each three dimensions - scales with each three subscales) + socio-demografic data (multiple choice options)

CHALLENGE:
Results: Each respondent should have the option to see their results. Either instant, download or receive via email. The results would not be a list of all questions with the response given. It would be mean value or sum per scale and subscale, as well as an overall score. Ideally there would be the option to assign fixed text to different score categories.

Anyone know if this is possible?

TANK YOU!!!!!!

Hi,

3 different surveys

I don't think it is three different surveys, but three different parts of the survey. Or?

Well, you have to use Expression Manager/Script to calculate the scores.

Either instant,
Create a question of type "text display" end design a good looking result page.

download or
Here you have to option to use the plugin "pdfReport" to design a good looking report that can be downloaded.

receive via email
Use one of the notification emails to design your report.

Thank you! It is three different surveys.... a self-assessment for the organizational culture of the company you work for, one your personal working preference and then another one I need to validate the first two :)

Great that there is this option. Do you know what plan I have to buy to use this?

And one last question. I will need to identify the person/ have a unique ID per person, so I can see which person answered which survey. (I need this for research purposes). Do you know how I include such an identification?

Again - thank you so much!

???
Why buy something?
You install the plugin  in your self hosted installation and that's all.

But if you prefer to have LimeSurvey hosted at LimeSurvey GmbH, they will charge a bit to install the plugin (if they are willing to install it).

Do you know how I include such an identification?

What type of survey? Open or closed?
In a closed survey with tokens you may use an additional attribute.
Or use the same token table and merge by the token itself.
In an open survey?
Hm, let them create their code. I saw sometimes something like "first letter of father's firstname, first letter of mother's firstname, day of birth (01-31), last letter of your home town,..."
But: no real idea.

Closed questions, however, I can add an open one for people to create their own code. This is a fantastic idea! I only thought about asking for their email address which of course might be uncomfortable for some.

I`ll look into self-hosting options, thanks for the hint!

Here you see an example of a survey (a quiz) with personal report at the end.

The survey can be downloaded here:

Joffm is talking about something else.

It is about the closed or restricted mode in Limesurvey, where you use tokens (access only via the token or via a link that includes the token already - individualized links) or if you will have a open survey where anyone who has the link can participate.

With the token you can identify your respondent.

That is nice, thank you for that example! I will use a 5-point likert scale but I`ll check if it makes sense to use this as a draft.

I see, thank you for explaining. I will have an open survey to avoid the work of creating individual links. This way the idea of a self-created code comes in handy.

Well, there is not much work involved creating the individual links, because Limesurvey does this for you. But depending on how you invite people it might actually not be possible for you to give each respondent their own link.

Tokens make sense if you know the participants and can invite them one by one via email for example. Now if you want anyone with the link to be able to participate, then tokens / closed survey mode does not make sense and you'll need to find a different "ID".

Yes - sending out emails is what I want to avoid. At least at this stage. I try to gather as much data as possible, to use it to validate those self-assessments.
