Following an update and a migration of our systems, we had a little problem. Our form, with a document upload field, displayed "Sorry file was not found" in the admin for a while. All the permissions seemed fine, but... We only realized recently that the problem was not with the permissions directly, but with the owner of the upload folder.
Anyway, once fixed, new uploaded documents are readable in the dashboard. Now the question is: is it still possible to fix the problem retroactively? Because all the old answers ( hundreds of them...) keep "Sorry file was not found" as the only usable information when you want to download attachments. However the system can detect them because it displays their name and weight, but no button to download them.
We have of course looked at the FTP, we have files in the upload/survey/survey_id folder but nothing usable. There is a way not to be very very embarrassed...?
