I'm new to using Limesurvey. So, I was wondering if there is a way to define at once all the questions of my questionnaire as mandatory?

But as you have to set the question type it shouldn't be to much work to click once more on the same page. 

But of course there is a way to do this.

• Export your survey as *.txt,
• open it in a spreadsheet like OpenOffice,
• set the "mandatory" column to "Y" where the class is "Q" .(can be done by a macro)
• Import again

I do not think this to be better.

Go to Questuion list menu
Use dropdown at bottom to show 100 question (if you have less than 100 questions)
Use check to all checkbox at top
Use quick action system.

However, I don't think that I have the new option that Denis is talking about in the question list menu. Could this be related to the version that I'm using? I'm using the Version 2.50+ Build 160506 that work gave me.

Joffm, I also tested your proposition of editing the txt file. I don't exactly understand where I should insert the "Y". Please find attached the txt file maybe you could help me understand better this solution. Thank you.

What do you think about column "I"?

And you have already a few manadtory questions. So you should see the "Y"s.

I'm using the Version 2.50+ Build 160506 that work gave me.

That version is from 2016 and without updates in areas of security and browser issues since years.
