just a short question: we have a small student community (~60 people) and with the amount of surveys we´ld need over time, we´ld like to install the community edition on our own server. Now, we are a bit unsure wether the community edition supports a user management, so each single user can have their own surveys created - and more important no other user (except an admin of course) has access to the survey design and no one can alter it but the survey creator himself.
May be I am just blind or searched on the wrong pages, but I haven´t found an answer to that by now. Could anyone be so kind to clearify, wether the community edition supports the above?
The community edition is basically identical to the SaaS version in terms of functions.
You can create users, which are called "survey admins". Then there is usually one "super admin" who has control over the whole installation.
The user management of Limesurvey is not the best, but here in the forum you should find descriptions on how to limit surveys to be seen/edited only by their creator. So, yes, it is possible.
Help us to help you!
Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
