I am looking at the best connectors / tools to create a dashboard with my limesurvey data, and have come across a lot of mixed suggestions about different tools and how well they work. I wanted to see if any of you have any experiences that you could possibly share. I am also slightly confused as to whether I would have direct access to the database and can write queries directly, or whether this has to be through a plug-in / API (so far from my understanding it will be through RemoteControl).
The ones I've come across so far and see as potentials are: Power BI, Shiny & Tableau. Ideally I would want to use Power BI, but I have read mixed articles on whether it would be straightforward / for free or whether it is necessary to invest in connectors / plug-ins.
