Import questionaires starting from DDI metadata was created by peterklas

Hi all,
I am wondering, what the easiest way it would be to import questions and answers stored as DDI 3.2 LC into LimeSurvey?
- Convert DDI to lss?
- Create an Limesurvey plugin?
- Can the API be used, e.g. /import_question etc to fill a survey?

Any help and suggestions would be appriciated.
