Can I identify recurring respondents? was created by roblu001
I want to log a series of "mini-surveys" (single question up to 3 questions), but I want to correlate respondents against the responses provided in a previous survey.

What I was hoping, Limesurvey would provide a respondent GUID that would be stored in the SQL database. I was hoping that this GUID would be stored in a cookie in the browser so that it would be reused on future surveys (and created on first-time).

What I was hoping this would help me to acheive is to identify age, gender, and other demographic factors for the survey responses that come in from the mini-surveys mentioned above.

Thank you

You can't refer to a cookie … User can delete it, user can change browser, user can use phone and computer…

See gitlab.com/SondagesPro/SurveyAccess/surveyChaining

Since the second survey can have a date on future : you can send an email to user explain «You can access this second survey on 2022 … with this link : {SURVEYURL}»
