Hi,

I'd like to get your opinion if and how the following could be achieved with LS (currently running 3.25.10 on a local server), and which method should be employed to implement it.

The idea is to not just send out reminders to the person invited to take the survey, but include (cc:) other individual(s) after the 2nd and 3rd reminder, i.e. have escalation levels when sending out the reminders.

To give you some examples:
Case1:
Assume a class of students taking an online test via a LS survey. The token-based survey is set active and invitations are sent out manually once by an assistant.
Now, after a predefined time, there should be automatic reminders sent out to all particiants not having completed the survey - so far so good, there's a plugin for that.

But, what is needed here are escalation levels, which means:
1st reminder is sent out to the email stored in the token table only
2nd reminder is sent to the participant PLUS the responsible person supervising the test (escalation level 1)
3rd remindeder is sent to the participant PLUS the teacher/prof (escalation level 2)
Any following reminder (if any) is sent to the same receipients as the 3rd (escalation level 2)
Sending reminders stops when the survey is closed, or the maximum number of reminders is sent per participant.

Case2.
Same setup, but used as a mandatory survey done among invited people of any organization. Anyone not completing the survey in time gets a reminder with the next responsibility level in cc:, with different to: addressed per level.

As usual, the time span between the reminders (plus the total number) should be configurable, to match the intended duration of the survey.
To store the data, we already set up a six extended attributes, holding firstname/lastname/email of escalation level 1 and level 2, so all necessary data is available within LS.

Is there anything already set up to achieve this?

Thanks a lot for your thoughts and suggestions :-)

Kind Regards,
Andreas

HI Andreas,

I think you will need a plugin for that.
You can build it yourself or ask a partner. :)

We have done specific reminder plugins in the past so we can help you.

Thanks!
