Hello!

I am trying to design a survey where the language used in the survey questions needs to be altered depending on the answer a responder gives to the first question.

So at the beginning, I would like responders to identify themselves i.e. are they a staff member, are they a student etc, and then the questions after this should refer back to this. e.g How do you feel being a *student*? or How do you feel being a *staff member*?

Is there an easy way for me to do this?

Thank you!

This is really easy using Expression Manager/Script.
Please, read the manual about
manual.limesurvey.org/ExpressionScript_-...#Access_to_variables
This is important because different question types have a different way to access the desired value. (list(radio), array, array with two dimensions, etc.)

and

Furthermore you can use the lime symbol right of "source code" in version 3.x.resp. the "LS"-Button in version 4.x.
