Hello,I am using Version 4.3.15 200907. I would like to ask a question in relation to “Multiple numerical input slider layout”.

I have set the Slider Initial Value at 50, with min=0, max=100. The question is mandatory: however, I noticed that the respondent does not have to move the handle at all and the submission will be recorded as 50. They just need to give an answer to make it mandatory, that could be leaving the page with all the sliders set to 50 unmoved.I would like to “force” respondents to move the slider, even if they want to put 50 as an answer. In other words, that the handle is displayed in the middle and user being unable to submit without moving the handle. Is that possible? Thank you very much. L.

Hi,
this is the crucial setting.

Set it to "No" and the slider handle will appear gray (untouched)

Please always read the manual before asking a question - manual.limesurvey.org/Question_type_-_Mu...der_initial_value.29
