I asked this over a year ago but never got a reply, so I am trying again.

Is there a way to get public statistics to only show data for responses that have been submitted?
At present it is showing data for partial responses as well.

I can confirm the behaviour and, in my opinion, this is a bug. Results should not be included unless the survey is submitted (completed). At the very least there should be an option to include/exclude them when enabling public stats.

Since you have a pro hosted account I suggest you file a support ticket directly - account.limesurvey.org/customer-support

Try adding this to config.php.


In your case, you will have to get support to add it and then you will need to restart the session to see differences.

I think it should be a survey setting.

I agree that it should be the default. It makes no sense for it to show incomplete surveys (and renders the functionality useless). The survey is already in field, so I can't restart it...looks like I am doing manual daily outputs for the client instead

The support ticket reply says it will be taken into account for version 4.

Did you ask support to change that config setting for you?

I did indeed and it worked!!
Didn't need to stop/start the live survey either.
Thank you so much, it has significantly reduced my workload (don't have to daily summaries now for the client!)
