Can you show the code? Because it looks like the code you are using is wrong.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Hi Holch,

The code in the answer options goes like this...

<img alt="" src="/upload/surveys/258529/images/N_banana.jpg" style="border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; width: 250px; height: 250px;" />

As answer choices?
Which question type do you use?
"image-select"?

Try to add the folder of your LimeSurvey installation like
/lime3/upload/surveys/761949/images/Boot001_klein.jpg
And in "image-select" don't use the <img> tag.
Styling in custom.css or inline.

Or do you use normal "list(radio)". Then you have to use the <img>.

Oh! Thanks Joffm! Following your suggestion I figured there must be something wrong with my url. It finally works by using this...>> myresearch.limequery.com/upload/surveys/.../images/N_banana.jpg

However, I have another enquiry.. how do I move the images closer to center margin? Idea attached in picture.

This is the result, if you do not tell us the important informations, that you don't use the Community edition, but the LimeSurvey hosted edition.

Okay, as I said: Styling by css.
You may have a look at the "imageselect.css" in the respective folder and investigate by a webdevelopment tool (included in each browser)

Here I used a class "my-image" in the question
and this in "custom.css"
Code:
.my-image .imageselect-list {
    width: 35% !important;
  }
.my-image .ls-answers {
      margin-left: 220px !important;
  }
