Hello! I have combed the docs and queried the forums here, and cannot find an answer—so am hoping there is a simple/easy one, for my inquiry.

I want to change the default text for "No Answer," to instead read "Prefer to not answer." Is that possible to do through the WebUI, or do I have to edit files at the server level?

I'd also love to somehow execute a global change to the "Other:" string to "Something else:," but am ok doing the per-question workaround in the UI, right now.

I'm using an instance running 3.23.6+200929. I am also only self-hosting, to meet my user's expectations for security (evil maid avoidance). Not to avoid giving money to Lime GmbH.

As I'm aware, the "No Answer" default is only available for Radio Buttons.

I turned it on as a global setting for all question types, and for that to by-default be selected. It does not show-up on my checkbox question types. I'd love for it to show-up there, too, tbh!

Like I said: I would LOVE for "No Answer" to be an option for literally all question types. It is currently not.

I've turned-on the "Show 'no answer' option for non-mandatory questions:" switch in Global Settings > Presentation. That only offers "No Answer" as a default-selected option on Radio Buttons. A sample version of our survey, is here: survey.qubes-os.org/index.php?r=survey/index&sid=681812&lang=en

We're using radio buttons, checkbox multiple-choice, and ranking, as answer-types.

Can you attach a small sample survey (.lss file) containing only those questions?

Slightly off-topic... I have no idea what "an array" is. That syntax is not a common use of language that researchers use, for shaping surveys. Developers, yes. Researchers w/o a background in coding, no.
