I would like to give the participants 5 answer options, which they should rank. The 5 answers should come from a total of 20 answers. Thus, each participant should receive and rank different answers.
With the question type array 5 random questions were shown to the participants using a JavaScript.
You can use the javascript, but the "ranking" question type doesn't have a subquestion relevance.
So you have to use the workaround with the hidden multiple question and the array filter.
Thanks joffmI have understood how to apply the array filter to display the answers from the previous selection. But now I can only set that the subquestions 1,2 etc. are displayed in the ranking question type. The questions that should be displayed are the same as those displayed in the multiplechoice question. The photo should hopefully make the explanation understandable.
Thanks for your help. It worked. Now these questions are displayed in the ranking question as in the multiple choice. However, the questions in the ranking question are only displayed when the questions in the multiple choice are clicked (photo).
Great it worked. Thank you so much.
One more question.
Is it possible in LS that the participants can only do the survey once? So that the link to the survey will not work on a second attempt.
This is the default setting, if you have a closed survey with participants.
If it is an open survey - you only distribute the generic link - you only have the option to set a cookie that prevents from answering twice from the same machine (unless the cookie is not deleted).
Read the manual about this.
