Dear all,

Is it possible to, based on a certain condition put in a subsequent question (e.g., the third question), re-route the survey respondents to the first question to re-select, without:
1. Using the previous button
2. Starting a new record

I could repeat the first question after the third question and make it hidden unless the condition is met, but wonder whether there is a better cleaner solution. Thanks!

Limesurvey does not offer jumping, thus I don't think this can be done. Maybe with the question index you can jump, but I don't think it is the best solution. Maybe someone else has a better solution, let's see.

Yes, you could insert JavaScript to use the index. The details of the JS would depend on question type and the "certain condition".

Hi

I also have the same issue of needing to go back to question 1 to allow the respondent to review his/her responses and to amend them if necessary.

Did you find a workable solution.

As said before: You may use the index.

tpartner mentioned javascript because jcpsarsi only wanted to jump back "on certain conditions"

If it is just the one question, you could also just copy the question and show it under certain conditions, piping in the response from the first version of the question.

In theory you then could even adapt the first version of the question via expressions based on the modifications in the second version of the question.
