You know that with the free Limesurvey instance hosted by Limesurvey GmbH you can only get 25 responses per month? And when you reach these 25 responses the installation is inaccessible to you until the next "billing" cycle (this is just called like that, you are not gonna get billed in the free instance).
I don't see how you could run any project having this limit. Only if your sample is very, very small and/or your field time spread over various months.
By the way: you can always download your results, so even if Limesurvey would reset the data (which I am sure they won't), you could still have your data as XLS, CSV or SPSS as a backup.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
