I have a Multiple short text question with 3 boxes for the respondent to enter text.
After this question I have a single multi-choice question with one checkbox labelled 'I don't know'.

I would like the text in the 3 input boxes to be removed if they put text in and then click 'I don't know'

Why not simply place relevance on the multi-short-text so it is hidden if "don't know" is checked?

I did try that but it didn't do anything for me.
I used q3dk_1.NAOK!=1 as the equation on each of the 3 text boxes

q3dk_1.NAOK!=1

This is wrong syntax if you try to access a multiple question.
With q3dk_1!="Y" it should work.





and with this relevance equation in on the whole question it is hidden.
