Hi,

May I ask on how to change the application URL from localhost (localhost/survey/admin/index)

To a domain (mysite/admin/index) by merging the "localhost/survey" into "mysite" ?

I have done this by editing on "httpd-vhost.com" from apache and "hosts" from System32 but this method does not work for LimeSurvey. Maybe because of the DocumentRoot is wrong (C:\xampp\htdocs\survey) ?

You are not planning on running an online survey from a Xampp installation on your C drive on your computer, are you?

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Hi thanks for your reply, actually I just want to merge the "localhost/survey" into one parameter only such as " www.mysite.com/admin/index ".

This has nothing to do with Limesurvey itself, but rather with server configuration / DNS settings.
