Using CAS for limesurvey was created by ggna

Hi,
I am looking for a tutorial to use third-party's Central Authentication Systems (CAS) to identify/authorize voters in a limesurvey poll.
I am specifically interested in using limesurvey with SPID, the digital identity system provided by the Italian govt to all Italian citizens, www.spid.gov.it/

Someone seems to have started to work on a plugin for this, but there seems to be no actual code and it is 3 years old.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
