Hello,

I would like to randomize questions groups (but not questions inside). It seems that I had to put the same name for all my questions groups, is that correct ? If yes, I do not know what the next step, please.

Hello, I read before but it says "Only places inside the same group will be randomly switched!" but I do not want to randomize inside... and If I renamed all my questions groups, the platform will automatically understand the randomization, I have doubts.

If you have 2 group with the same randomization group : the 2 group are randomized. Not question inside.

The groups with the same radomization group name are randomized inside this randomization group.

"inside the randomization group"

This means if you have 5 groups, and only 3 of them have a name in "randomization group", then these 3 within the "randomization group" (!= Question group!!!!) are randomized among their positions:

G1
G2 - "random"
G3 - "random"
G4 - "random"
G5

In this case, G1 would always be at the beginning, G5 would always be at the end and G2, G3 and G4 will rotate positions among them.

Ok, thank you. So if I understand well, when I edit my question group, in section 'randomization group', I enter a name and then all my question group with the same name will be randomized ! So simple, thx.

Yes, whatever groups have the same name in "randomization group" will randomize under each other.

E.g. you could even do something like this:

G1 - "random"
G2 - "random"
G3
G4 - "random"
G5 - "random"

In this case G3 ┬┤Position 3) would always stay in the middle, and G1, G2, G4 and G5 will be randomly be distributed over the positions 1, 2, 4 and 5.
