Hi, I have two question in this topic.

First question: Can I edit the mandatory text "This question is mandatory" to my own custom text based on different question.

For an example, if respondent leave question 1 empty, it will show "Please select a rating". If respondent leave question 2 empty, it will show "Please select an answer".

Second question: Can I edit the pop out message based on question as well.

For an example, if respondent leave question 1 empty, it will show "Please select a rating". If respondent leave question 2 empty, it will show "Please select an answer" in the pop out message box.

For mandatory part update : best is to didn't use included mandatory, but contruct your own one :

You have validation and validation tip for all question type now, thhe you can add in validation
!is_empty(self.NAOK)
and in tip : exactly what you want.

For the alert box : text was taken in LSvar.startPopups javascript array. Then there are surely some way to do this in plugin or survey theme.

More time to construct something, and can be hard.

Do you want to show the string
1. Only if there are error, hide it if succed.
2. Only when try to submit, if there are error

Yes I want to show the tips after the respondent did not choose any answer and click submit button.

Not to show the tips when the survey is running from the beginning.
