I run a survey and the link of the survey is posted on facbook.
I don't have tokens and I have anonymous responses set to yes. I don't collect email.
Are the surveys data really secure, or Facebook can collect some data?
I want to pass the survey from the Research Ethics Commitee and they are askiing how secure and anonymous my survey is.
Facebook see who clicks the link and when. Assuming that responses are saved in order to the database it theoretically may be possible to recognize a person. I would export responses to file, delete them from LimeSurvey, sort file by some field, and import from file after the survey is finished.
The "Anonymized responses" setting has no effect if you are not using tokens. It is simply to separate the token and data tables and disable the timestamp.
