my usecase is:

I got 40 question which can be answered on a scale from 0-10.
Each of these questions can be assigned to a category.

At the end I want to sum the points of the answers which belong to the same category.
After that should a individual ( for each category a different one ) text and image for the highest "ranked" category been displayed.

Can I realise this scenario with LimeSurvey?

Use Expression Manager/Script to calculate the values.

Display the text and picture by micro-tayloring in a question of type "text display".

After you created a prototype of your survey with some smple categories and questions, send the lss export.
Then we may talk about the fine tuning.
