Hi,

What is the difference between mandatory soft and off?
Did not find any explanation.
In LS 4.2.1 system help it say:

Option "Soft" gives a possibility to skip a question without giving any answer.

But doesn't it also work like that in "off"?

Never used this, but from what I understand, "Soft" gives you a warning, but you can ignore it and continue. Why don't you just try it on one of your questions and see what happens?

  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

On = visible "*"
Soft = hidden "*"
I could have not understand it from the explanation there.
