Hi there
I am not really sure how to explain my issue.
I have a survey where the participants come from different areas. The first question clarifies which area each participant comes from.
Now I would like to see eg. question 2 spread over the areas, but it seems that I cannot make that cross over - is that correct? Or do you know of a way to do this?

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hi
Do you want to see the results of the different areas in the statistics view?
This you can do by filtering the result.
Like here: Only people who answered "Yes" are included in the statistics.
But there is no option to create a cross tab.
This you will do in your statistic tool.
Or do I misunderstand and you want to do something quite different?

Hi Joffm
Thank you for your reply.
I can withdraw the results of each area's result on eg. question 2 by making chosing the area one by one - but this will take me a while. My question is if it is possible to see all the areas' reply on that question in one graph?
Maybe it is not possible at all, maybe it lies within the way I set the survey uo, but it would be fantastic if I could use the area as some kind of background variable and then get a graph where all the areas were shown on any given question. Do you know what I mean?
Thank you for your reply.

And the built-in statistic is not thought to replace an analyzing tool.
You may have a very raw overview while the survey is running, not more.
The rest you will do in your statistic software like SPSS, PSPP, R, EXCEL, or whatever.

What you are looking for is cross tabulation and LS does not provide this.
The Limesurvey reporting is only for a quick idea about the current results during fieldwork, not a full flechted analysis tool. Would be great to have cross tabulation (because for many studies this is all it takes in terms of analysis), but I don't see this coming anytime soon.
