In a private survey, if you ask a question such as: How many children do you have?

But if you answer 5, then it will pop up five lines of the below, asking for:

1st child: name, gender, age, height, weight, etc....
2st child: name, gender, age, height, weight, etc....
3st child: name, gender, age, height, weight, etc....
4st child: name, gender, age, height, weight, etc....
5st child: name, gender, age, height, weight, etc....

If the answer is 0, then it is nice and clean. You move on to the next question.

And for the sake of this example, let assume the respondent answer is "0".

So when you click on view "Edit Response" you are going to see the cascaded text of all those verbiage, which could be very tiresome for the eyes.

Is it possible to have a clean view when you're inside the Edit Reponse. If the answer is 0, then just list out 0 and skip out all these garbage such as: www.screencast.com/t/qiz2lMv5i

Is there a solution to this?

Of course not.
You get a clean view of the existing variables.

So when you click on view "Edit Response" you are going to see the cascaded text of all those verbiage, which could be very tiresome for the eyes.

Honestly: You are misusing the "Edit Response" feature, if you want to check each respondent here and add a comment to each one. (This post is related to your previous about it, isn't it?) And then you complain about it?
You will have to endure a little bit of scrolling.

To fullfil your wish you can't use "Edit responses", but find a way to access the survey itself of each respondent a second (or even third) time.
There is a plugin "reloadAnyResponse".
Or "commentsOnSurvey".
Both available here gitlab.com/SondagesPro
You may have a look at them.
I personally don't know how they work. Have a try.

Hi Joffm and Denis Chenu:

Thanks for the tip. I just installed and activated this plugin "commentsOnSurvey". However, when I am inside the edit response screen, I do not see any option to comment on each response.

My settings looked okay though: www.screencast.com/t/na5pYfCKH

Thanks for any help.

Thanks Denis. So in order to use Comments, you must enable inside each question first?

Do we have a timeline as to when the release for 4.x will come out for this plugin? Will it speed thing up if we make a donation? :-)

No, you can add one by group for example.
