For example, in a private survey, we assign 5-6 people(calling them staffs) to review the completed response of each respondent, by clicking on the "edit response".

When staffA edits the response, he will make some correction on the answers; then he will add in something like "this client is cool", then hit Save.

Then when StaffB edits the response, she will make more corrections; then she will add in something like "no, this client sucks...", then hit Save.

So inside the edit response screen, it would be nice to have a way to log some notes. Can we do this? Thanks for any input.

Hi,
you need a comment field?
So add it to your survey.
Add a hidden question of type "long text" at the end of the questionnaire, call it comment or whatever.

Thank you Joffm. That solution is appropriate. But how do you create a question and make it hidden?

Each question has a feature "always hide this question" in the settings.

Now, I don't know if these questions appear with "edit response". If the don't, you'll have to hide the question via CSS, given it the class .hidden in the gui settings where you can apply CSS to each question.

They appear in the "Edit question".

I tried it before I posted it.
