Track token to surveys responses was created by MagNate
Hello everyone!
I'm using LimeSurvey v 03.15
As a new user of limesurvey, I created a survey with tokens to send to participants emails, people agreed to this, so this is not an anonymous survey. Some of them have responded to the survey and when I tried to see participants responses I realized I couldn't link participants to their responses.
So I look at the settings and I saw that I accidentally setted it to "anonymous" so now I can't link participants responses to their emails.
Is there a workaround to solve this issue without losing data?
Thanks in advance,
Nate.

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hi,
if there was one, the setting of "anonymous" would be useless.

Thank you for your response.
I think it was not clear to me that when you add tokens to a survey, it doesn't mean that you can see who responded to it. I just found that out the hard way, I think.
Do you think I can open a ticket to ask for assistance? (I really don't know what else to do).

If I understand your
If you deactivate it, the actual data are stored in a table called "lime_survey_old..."
But before you do this export the data to EXCEL or *.csv.
Now activate again and you may import this table again.
Of course without the participants' data.
But this way you may retrieve the rest "not ananymous"
On the other hand: Why do you want to link the responses to the emails.
According to the ESOMAR (European Society of Opinion and Market Research) codex you are not allowed to do this.
And in the participant table you see who answered, who dod not; you may remind them, you may invite them again for a follow up survey, and so on.
Joffm
And to show the paragraph of the manual
Anonymyzed responses: This option allows you to determine whether responses to your survey are matched up with information from your survey's token table, or kept "anonymous". If you decide to enable it, your survey is set to anonymize responses - there will be no way to connect answers and participants;
right, only a few answered already and the survey is not finished. Some of them have responded to the survey
