Dear all,

I would like to update, modify or correct questions in a running survey. I know it is not possible by design, since I have to stop the survey and I can't use the answers and the survey anymore. But is there still a way you can achieve this?

Rgds

You can of course update / modify / correct questions in a running survey. What you can't do is adding/deleting questions, subquestions or answer options, basically anything that will change the overall structure of the survey and the database. But you can change text, expressions, etc.

Ok, I found another solution.

I would deactivate the survey make my modifications on the structure and activate the survey again. With this I can import the old answers and the survey participants. I've tested this and works quiet ok. There is also an option in LS to import old answers. Pretty cool

Yes, you can deactivate the survey and then reactivate it and in general you can import the archived response table after the re-activation.
