I don't know why I do not know this but my brain has had a complete meltdown.

Can someone please point me in the right direction for validation of a multiple numeric question where there are months and years needed

Q1_Months (0-11)
Q1_Years (0-40)

No matter what I have tried it doesn't seem to do this correctly.

I should say:
Exactly as you described it:

A min value of "0".
And the validation equation: (Q1_months<12 and Q1_years<41)
And a validation tip like: {if(Q1_months>11,"Please months in (0..11)",if(Q1_years>40,"Please years in (0..40)",""))} or whatever you like.
