Apologies if this has already been asked before and I have missed it... I have has a search of the forums and Google with no luck
Is it possible to set relevance equations on single choice answer options? i.e a dropdown list, only show on the dropdown list based on a previous answer to a question.
I know I can use {if(Q001 != "", "OptionText","SomeOtherText")} in the option text, however I cannot find a way of hiding the option completely as {if(Q001 != "", "OptionText","")} still shows a blank line.
No, you cannot use relevance on answer options of a single punch question.
You have to create a (hidden) multiple question, where you check the relevant items by equation.
This multiple question then is used as array filter of the single one.
Better you send a sample file, that we understand better.

Thanks for that. That's what I thought... we have got a way around it using a multiple choice (and putting relevance equations on the subquestions) and restricting to 1 selection, but we have up to 20 options that we restruct down to 5 dependant on answers to other questions, and we do that about 3 times within the survey, so the results spreadsheet at the end starts to become unmanagable
Do you know if this has been put in as a feature request before/if there is a reason that it has not been put in? If not I will submit one.
Again I say:
Better you send a sample file, that we understand better.
I have not the least idea what you wanted to say in the last post (probably because of the language gap).
But the wish of having answer option relevance on sinple punch questions is often discussed.
As you might see, we have relevance on subquestions, but not on answer options. That's the difference.
