we are searching for a survey solution that can do the following:

1. Responsive Surveys
2. Recurring Surveys (save past surveys)
3. Allow respondent to change answers after submission
4. Recurring Survey is pre-filled with each of their answers of the previous survey
5. Compare recurring surveys of different periods to see trends
6. Different visualization of the results
7. Automated reminders to respondents to do the survey (again)

- Is it possible to add or delete Questions of a recurring survey?
- is it possible to implement survey in own website or get an URL with own sub domain?

Is this Possible with LimeSurvey?

Do i need to be a Dev to administrate an LimeSurvey account ?

No, here you are free to use your own preferred statistical tools to do this.

Automated - Not out of the box.

Add, Delete - Yes. Change question type - No.

Either install the Community Edition on your web space or use the PRO Edition where "domain aliasing" is included from "Expert" edition +.

What is domain aliasing and why do I need it?
Survey participants might be sceptical or careful due to the LimeSurvey Professional url in the address bar, e.g. following a click on a survey link from your website/invitation email, the url changes to ‘yourdomain.limequery.com’.
Domain aliasing allows you to use your own website domain for your survey.

I should say: Try to install the community edition. You will see.
And if you think, you are not able to do it, you may use the SaaS way and order the PRO edition. You may start with the "Free" edition to have a look.

Can you tell me more about it or provide a link? Do i understand you right that Limesurvey dont have a visualization feature for the survey results ? Will it be possible to compare surveys of different periods ?

The built-in "statistics" is only to have a rough overview during the survey. Better to use your own software.

Of course you can send invitations and reminders, but you have to start it by clicking a button.

Up to you, if you want to have a list there will be a list.
There are several ways to run a survey.

• Open survey: Anybody who has the link may participate
• Survey with registration: Anybody who has the link and wants to participate has to register. He will get his credentials by email.
• Closed survey: You have a predefined list of potential participants. They get an invitation with their credentials by email.

Anyway: An email address is esential.

Best is. Read the manual and try yourself in the demo installation.

I think Joffm summed it up very well.

But keep in mind, here in the forum we are mainly giving support for the community edition of LS (same functionalities) but not the SaaS Version provided by Limesurvey GmbH.

But the Free Version of the SaaS offer has very few limitations in terms of features (of course no own domain). So you can try and test all functions. Only real limit (as far as I know): You can't have more than 25 Survey responses per month.
