As suggested above I am using "long free text" in order to provide a final report using expression manager to build the report. Basically there will be several if and nested if and within some of them there will be a long text, something like 10/20 rows with bullets, colon, and new line

No one suggested that you should use "long free text" questions, as far as I recall. Usually I would use "text display" questions to provide the "report".

So I am still not sure how and where you are using long free text questions for this.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Ok. Now I am using Text Display but I have the same error result as the following picture.

I would like to just print a text like this:

Hi,

First: What is question CMod3?
Obviously it is a question that contains an answer option coded "Yes".
If this option is selected you want to display "yes" otherwise the text.

There are some syntax errors.
You cannot use curly brackets inside curly brackets.
You have to use the "+" operator. "Considering that "+PC0.shown+" has"

You cannot use double quotes inside double quotes. You have to change to single quotes.
"You can find more details of this here: mix.net/cams/jtc/cm"
Remember: The editor always changes back to double quotes when you edit again.

Don't use
. Use a new equation.

Thanks a lot!
What does it mean "Don't use
. Use a new equation.", what is new equation?
How can I go to a new line within an if statement?

It is what I wrote before.

{if(result1==1,"My advice is that you eat an apple each day.","")}
To get a line feed here I just start a new equation.
{if(result1==1,"You got less than 100 points","")}

Then in my case, I have to wrote 20 lines therefore 20 equations?
It is not so practical but if it is the solution, I will apply this, thanks a lot!
