The survey I want to put into Limesurvey has the following setup:


1) Question.......1a Likert Scale option 1,2,3,4,5 .......Question1b
2) Question.......2a Likert Scale option 1,2,3,4,5 .......Question2b
3) Question.......3a Likert Scale option 1,2,3,4,5 .......Question3b

Is this possible in Limesurvey?

Not quite, the response options would not be on either side. Rather the question would be on each side of the Likert response options.

I cannot imagine this means:
Question 1, then the question of the Likert scale, and then a third question.
So you want three questions side by side?

You really should show us a pcture of your desired layout, but only if it is NOT the simple "semenatntic differential".

I agree with Joffm, this looks pretty much like the "semantic differential" layout he describes. Have a good look at Joffm's link and what it shows about "semantic differential".

If this really isn't what you are looking for, we need a better description, because it seems that everyone (Joffm, Tpartner, me) seem to understand it in the same way.

Thanks, this semantic differential (whoever came up with that name) was really what I was looking for - I would have called it a two sided Likert question.
