Extract Results by date was created by ixtambay
Hi,
I would like to ask if there is a way I can export results by date or add it as filter when exporting survey results?
Hope to hear from you.
Thanks in advance.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Not via the GUI, as far as I know. Maybe through the API, but I have no idea about that.
But why not filtering results after exporting? Workload should be about the same for filtering before or after export.

Thanks for the reply. Wouldn't it be easier if for example you have more than a year of survey results and you just need a month from it you would not need to export everything again or check on the ID to place the range you want to extract?

It would, without a doubt.
However, currently it is not possible via the GUI (just checked in the Demo). So this means this would be a new feature. You can always make a feature request. However, those feature requests can always take a very long time and they might never make it into core. Just be prepared.
For me personally: as I can easily fix that "problem" by deleting the respective answers from the exported CSV file for example, I'd rather have other features implemented before this.
I also quickly checked if Denis has a plugin for this, but I couldn't find anything. You might look through this yourself just to make sure:
github.com/SondagesPro
I had also a list at the Survey responses table and there can can filter by date, but only by a specific day and not a range. But this filter can be exported then. Doesn't really help you either, I guess.

Thanks for the help. Will try looking for a solution for this.
By the way, does the paid version have this feature? Thanks again.

Export by date submitted can be a good feature request in my opinion.
