Command line administration scripts

Hello,
I've been asked if there could be a way to manage our limesurvey installation by creating command line scripts.
For example, a script to be put in our crontab that deletes all closed surveys that are older than a certain age.
I believe this could be done, though not so quickly, by directly accessing the database. Anyway, I wasn't able to find a data model for it.
Is there any documentation about that?
Regards.

There is an API available. Not sure if it allows what you are looking for, but you can do quite a few things with it.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
