I am wondering if it is possible to end a survey after a user tries to answer a question two times without success.
I need this functionality for setting up a filter question (Instructional Manipulation Check, IMC) to make sure that the respondents read the instructions carefully.
The respondents are supposed to type the word "understood" besides the "Other" field of a multiple choice question. Using the "Question validation equation" I can check whether they succeeded. If participants check some other options or do not type "understood" because they did not carefully read the description, they receive an error. The point is that I want to give them a second try, but not an infinite number of additional tries. Is there a possibility to send the respondents to the end of the survey if the they do not meet the question validation equation a second time?
Hi, I don't know if this is possible with one question but I would copy the first question (Q1) and make two steps verification. If there is wrong answer for Q1 the second question is shown (Q2). If again wrong answer for Q2 then skip to the end. If correct for Q1 then go to Q3.
