is it possible to change the word "other" into another word ?

You could either not use the "other" option from the system ( www.limesurvey.org/manual/Question_type_...Other.27_.28other.29 ) and just create your own "other" option by adding an answer option and name it for example "not other". ;-)

Or you could just change the label for other to something else in the "Display options" of your question.

yes, by editing/creating a translation file


This would impact all questions with "other" in all surveys. If this is what you want, then "translating" is the way to go.

But I guess this is just for this specific question type and for this specific question. Then the best is to change it in "Display options" in the question settings ("edit").
