Hello. I programmed a survey with several questions that contain an "Other" option with text entry. I noticed that in an SPSS export, "Other" isn't assigned a value and only passes the text entry. In the example below, is it possible to assign "Other" a value of 99?
Demo question #1
Option 1 - value - 1
Option 2 - value - 2
Option 3 - value - 3
Other (please specify) - value - 99
solution : make a exportSPSS plugin (we need to do it … never found time) and update it a little.
solution #2 : update the .variable file after ?
solution #3 : set other as a choice + add a short text question with condition after this question.
