Hello!

I'd like to implement a third-party-Chat in a Survey. Which file do I need to edit in order to write some Javascript code that is every time executed?

I tried to insert javascript code inside the question and it worked. However, I'd like to have it always ON.

I also read this topic about "Zopim Chat" but I couldn't find startpage.pstpl file.

Thanks again for your help. ;)

- Nick

Because this thread you are referring to is from 2 years ago. This was for sure a totally different version. The template system has changed probably twice since then.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Thanks! So do you know how to insert a JavaScript file that is executed everytime? For example is there a way to put is in the header so it's always executed?

For Javascript related questions you have to wait for someone like Tpartner or Denis to help with details.

extend a theme, edit its config.xml, add your JS file after the other files, reset the theme :

github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/blob/ma...a/config.xml#L55-L59

Or add script in footer.twig for example : github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/blob/ma...s/footer/footer.twig

...or extend a core theme and edit custom.js.
